    Invergarry is a Traditional Lakeland guest house offering old fashioned hospitality. Situated mid way between Windermere and Bowness on Windermere, we are an ideal base for exploring the Lakes and Fells of the National Park with Lake Windermere a few minutes walk down the hill. Close by there is the Beatrix Potter Attraction, Boats & Steam Railways, Museums, and much more. Fancy a round of golf, Windermere Golf Course is just a short drive away. In Windermere and Bowness on Windermere there are plenty of hotels, restaurants and pubs offering a wide variety of cuisine to suit all tastes. If you want to go further afield we will be able to direct you to some very cosy olde worlde hostelries and quaint villages. Our Little Walk Books, which direct you from the front door, will take you to some fabulous view points, for example, Post Knott and Orrest Head where on a clear day you can see almost the full length of Lake Windermere and the distant Fells. Our walks range from 2 miles to 6 miles

      M6|Road|15|Exit the M6 at junction 36 and follow the sign to Kendal and South Lakes on the A590, then continue on the A591 towards Windermere. Once in Windermere take the first left following the signs to Windermere and Bowness. After passing through Windermere village, turn left down on New Road this leads to Lake Road, you will shortly pass a stone clock and a modern looking church on your left. After the zebra crossing and just before the police station turn left into Thornbarrow Road.
