    Holly Lodge Bed and Breakfast, built in 1854, is one of the oldest Guest House Accommodation providers in Windermere. We are situated just off the main road in the village, in a quiet position, close to shops, restaurants, buses and trains. It is also well placed for bus tours and Lake Cruises. Windermere is the ""heart of the English Lake District"", and many outdoor activities can be followed. There are homes and gardens, museums, and craft shops to be visited, and the lakes and fells are easily reached by car or bus. There is full central heating, a comfortable lounge with an open fire and a pleasant dining room with separate tables. There are 9 en-suite (shower only) rooms: 4 family/twin, 1 single, and four doubles. Some private parking is available but please check on arrival. We have a full fire certificate. We also have wireless internet access. We look forward to welcoming you to Holly Lodge Guest House. We are open throughout the year, and are registered with the English Tourist Council with a four star rating.

      Train Station|Train|1|Turn left out of the station , past the Tourist information centre. Turn left and cross over in front of the Lakes Hotel to High Street. Walk down High Street, cross the main road into College Road. Holly Lodge is about 200 yards on the right. M6|Road|10|Most people come to us from the M6, which runs up the western side of Britain. Come off at Junction 36 (Kendal) A592, this road becomes the A591 that leads directly into Windermere. As you arrive in Windermere, ignore the first left turn by the train station and instead carry on 60m and take the next left into Elleray Road. Continue down this road for 50-60m then take the first right into College Road. Holly Lodge is about 200 yards on the right.
