I found this little gem on the internet and it ticked all the boxes for a break away from home. We wished we had booked 2 nights, what a wonderful house in a lovely little village and situated alongside the canal. I found this little gem on the internet and it ticked all the boxes for a short break away from home. We arrived mid afternoon on Saturday 20th March and were greeted by a log fire and tea and biscuits served in the the guest sitting room by annie and her charming husband, such a wonderful warm welcome . Our lovely cosy bedrooms had every conceivable extra with fantastic showers and a turndown service which included the switch on of electric blankets. Christopher booked our taxi and on arriving back from the palm restaurant were we enjoyed a fantastic Indian meal we once again were shown to the sitting room and given the freedom to relax and enjoy this beautiful home. Breakfast the next morning was a delight and after checking out we walked the canal tow path . A fabulous experience our every wish was granted, we were spoiled and pampered and allowed to share the home of Christopher and Annie. The attention to detail at this fantastic B&B is second to none and we can't wait to visit again.
