Sue and Stuart welcome you to their individually designed family home. Although new in construction, it is tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard. One guest comment was - ""a rare example of a new home with built in character"". Although we are only 10 to 15 minutes drive from both the towns of Whitchurch & Wrexham, the tranquillity of our location helps you to unwind. If the weather permits, why not unwind and relax in the garden arbour and enjoy a complimentry glass of wine or a slice of Sue's home made cake with a cup of tea or coffee. Just take in the splendid views to Hanmer church - one mile away,or the distant mountains. A warm friendly welcome awaits you in light, airy, tastefully furnished and comfortable double/twin bedded rooms all with ensuite showerrooms. If booking two rooms for the same reservation dates, telephone Sue to enquire of any possible discounts. Breakfasts are served either in our spacious dining hall, or on beautiful warm mornings, outside on the terrace. We offer buffet style cereals, fresh and dried fruits, fruit juices, local yoghurts and preserves and our very own home made bread. Those with a more hearty appetite can choose from organic porridge oats, locally produced sausages and bacon, home grown tomatoes and free range eggs from down the road. Add to this a good serving of friendly rural hospitality and you will be set up for the day. Local points of interest include the nearbyl village of Hanmer, with its histroric church standing by the ""shining mere"". Whithcurch which is the oldest town in Shropshire, continually inhabited since Roman times and Ellesmere the 'lake district' of Shropshire. The region is full of interests to suit everyone - history, horticulture, museums, castles, stately homes and horseracing. For the more active visitor we can offer walk trails, traffic free cycling and a dozen golf courses. We look forward to welcoming you to experience the best.
