The wide sweep of Weston Bay has miles of clean sandy beach, and a level promenade boasting superb views over the Channel. There is lovely coastline and countryside to explore, and Cheddar (Gorge), Wells, Glastonbury, Bristol, Bath and the Mendip Wookey Hole Caves and Quantock Hills are all within easy reach. Weston beach has designated areas for wind and water sports, and there are boat trips around Weston Bay and further afield. Undercover attractions include the SeaQuarium, the North Somerset Museum and the world's largest dedicated Helicopter Museum. There is a wide variety of entertainment on at the Playhouse Theatre and the Winter Gardens to suit all ages, and an excellent selection of restaurants, cafes, bars and nightclubs. The spectacular new Grand Pier and the tastefully renewed Sea Front promenade are due to open in July 2010.

      Sea Front|Road|0.5|Travel north along the Sea Front with Weston Pier on your left and the Winter Gardens on your right. Carry on until you see a row of hotels (Manaco, Seaward, Midland etc) on your right. Immediately after the Pavilion hotel/restaurant (and before the Nook and Harbour restaurant) turn right into Upper Church Road. About 75 m ahead turn right at the crossroads (still Upper Church Road). Florence Guest House is about 40m from the crossroads on your right, in a row of other guest houses.
