    Whether you're visiting Torquay for a holiday, short break or on business, the Southbank is the ideal choice for a Torquay Holiday . The bedrooms are comfortably furnished with all the amenities that a discerning guest would expect, including tea / coffee making facilities, fridges upon request, colour TV with Freeview, alarm clock, hairdryers and en-suite facilities. We have a selection of single, double, twin and family rooms. All our rooms are totally non-smoking. In the dining room individual tables are provided and the soft lighting enhances the relaxed atmosphere. A warm welcome awaits in our Bar / Lounge with a well-stocked bar at reasonable prices. The kitchen is under the personal supervision of the Proprietors who take great pleasure in providing good, freshly cooked, wholesome food with a varied menu. Torquay, along with Paignton & Brixham, forms the holiday resort area known as Torbay. Torbay is well known for its many safe beaches from which you can swim, sail, wind-surf, water-ski or just relax in the sun. As well as its stunning coastline, Torquay also boasts many attractions for all the family including live theatres, cinemas, Kents Cavern, a model village, ten-pin bowling, a steam railway, go-karts and much, much more. There really is something for everyone.

      Torquay Coach Station|Coach|1|We are only a short taxi ride. Taxis are available from the booking office. Torquay Station|Train|1|Turn right out of the station onto the Sea Front, proceed approximately 300 metres and turn left onto Belgrave Road and we are 300 metres further along on the right. You can also get a short taxi ride directly outside of the station. M5|Road|6|Head south on the M5 until you reach the Penn Inn roundabout at Newton Abbott. Continue straight ahead onto the A380 which leads directly to Torquay. At Torre Station take the right hand lane onto Avenue Road, follow this to Kings Drive which will take you onto the Sea Front. At the traffic lights turn left and continue along the Sea Front for about 300 metres. At the traffic lights turn left onto the Belgrave Road and The Southbank is situated 300 metres further along on the right.
