The Brandize

A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at The Brandize from the resident proprietors, Gareth & Ann Bateman. This property was built in 1906 and still maintains many of its original features. The property is set back from the road and boasts an adequate car park and has a delightful award winning garden that guests can sit in and watch the world go by. We are on the quieter side of Torquay with open views across Torre Valley Sports field to the lower slopes of Chelston. A leisurely stroll takes you down towards Torre Abbey and the beautiful Torre Abbey gardens where you can sit and watch a game of bowls or just gaze out over the bay. A nine hole Pitch & Putt or a game of crazy golf could challenge the more active, or the brave could take a ride in Torquay's newest attraction: the High Flyer hot air ballon. Attending a conference or business gathering? Then look no further, we are only minutes from The Riviera Conference Centre and many of the larger Hotels around the bay.
