Welcome to The Kingsholm a 4-star AA graded guest accommodation only 350 Metres from Torquay's bustling Harbour. The Kingsholm is a fine Edwardian house offering excellent bed & breakfast accommodation in beautiful surroundings. It is situated in a conservation area with many rooms overlooking the ornamental trees of Torwood Gardens. The Kingsholm is located over 3 floors and has 9 En-Suite bedrooms all decorated and furnished to a high standard. All bedrooms have freeview TV's free Wi-Fi hairdryers and hospitality trays. There is also an elegant guest lounge spacious dining room with a separate table for each room and licensed bar. The owners June and Carl offer a friendly home from home welcome. The Kingsholm is in the heart of the English Riviera and the world class Geopark. It is conveniently located only 5 minutes walk from Torquay's bustling harbour and Torquay town centre with its many restaurants cafes and bars. Torquay Museum Kent’s Cavern and the Torquay Riviera Centre are all within easy walking distance. The holiday resort of Paignton and the quaint fishing village of Brixham are both a short drive away. Our aim is to make your stay a pleasurable one. Being a small family run business means you will receive a friendly personal service with attention to detail at all times. From the moment we carry your luggage to your room you can start to relax and enjoy your stay. We have limited free guest car parking behind the hotel and additional free car parking in a barrier controlled secure car park 100 metres away. There is a space for each room. The hotel is only suitable for children 10+ years. Sorry no Stag or Hen groups.

  Torquay Station|Train|1.5|Exit the train station bear right onto the seafront. Turn left along the seafront (sea on your right). Follow the promenade until you pass the Princess Theatre and reach the harbour. Follow left around the harbour to the clock tower roundabout. At the roundabout with a clock tower turn left up Torwood Street. This becomes Babbacombe Road at the traffic lights. We are on the left shortly after the Bowling Alley.;Exeter|Road|23|Follow M5 south until it becomes the A380. Follow signs for Torquay. On entering Torquay follow signs for the seafront. At the seafront turn left past the Princess Theatre. At the next roundabout turn left. At the roundabout with a clock tower turn left up Torwood Street this becomes Babbacombe Road at the traffic lights. We are on the left shortly after the Bowling Alley.;Plymouth|Road|60|A38 for Exeter then A385 via Totnes for Paignnton. Approaching Paingnton pass Collaton St Mary then at trafiic lights turn left onto the A380. About 200 yards on use filter lane to turn right. Follow road past roundabout and fire station to a T-Junction controlled by lights. Turn left and follow to Torquay seafront past the Grand Hotel and Princess Theatre. Left at roundabout left at next roundabout into Torwood St which becomes Babbacombe Rd. We are just after the Bowling Alley.;
