It was the Victorians who first used the Riviera name to describe their favourite resort and their legacy remains to this day with sparkling white villas perched on the verdant hilltops, beautiful gardens around the seafront and elegant Victorian facades along the main streets. Torquay is located in the heart of South Devon within an our of Exeter, Plymouth and the National Parks of Dartmoor and Exemoor. There are excellent Road and Rail links with the rest of the country.

      Torquay Coach Station|Coach|2|Taxis are avalible from Torquay Coach Station Torquay Station|Train|1|Taxis avalible from Both Torquay and Torre Stations, both are approximately 1 mile from The Glenroy Torre Station|Road|1|Coming in from Newton Abbott reaching Torre Station the road forks, take the right hand fork(Halfords on the right) go down Avenue Road until the first set of traffic lights, go over the lights a further 200 metres and turn a sharp left into Bampflyde Road.Follow the hill up and 3/4 of the way to the end The Glenroy is located on the righthand side with parking avalible either on Bampflyde Road, or behind in Bath Lane.
