    Imagine, after a blissful nights sleep on what many of our guests describe ‘as the most comfortable beds they have ever slept on’ you come down to a fresh cooked to order English Breakfast with quality eggs, locally produced sausages and delicious thick bacon. Image also fresh bread (brown and white), baked daily on the premises and tasty homemade jams and marmalade to spread onto the delicious bread. Finally imagine a range of tasty healthy yoghurts to accompany your breakfast, also made on the premises. Well imagine no more, if this is what you are looking for you need to book into the Glendower! But it’s not just our fantastic breakfasts that keep our customers returning. Our rooms, which are constantly being refurbished and upgraded, are large and well equipped. Each has a 19” flat screen TV, personal security box, free high speed (many rooms >50Mbps) wifi, complimentary tea/coffee and of course are fully ensuite. All our beds are of an extremely high standard with deep luxurious mattress each covered with a thick quilted topper for that extra bit of comfort. Our guests are constantly commenting on the quality of the beds and how well they sleep. Our location is another reason we get so many returning guests. We have a privileged location on a quiet tree lined road only a short walk from Torquay seafront. Many of our guests park the car for the duration of their stay and either walk into the harbour through Torre Abbey Gardens and along the seafront or use the bus that passes our front door. We are the ideal location for both holiday and business guests.

      By Rail|Train|0.5|Leave Torquay railway station and with the station to your back and the Grand Hotel on your right, turn left. Walk along the road and around the corner towards a set of traffic lights. Cross the road on proceed along Falkland Road. We are the first major building on the left (100m) Paignton|Road|3|Proceed along the seafront in the direction of Torquay. When you see the Grand Hotel move into the left hand lane and turn left towards the railway station. Drive past the railway station and around the corner you will see a set of traffic lights. Keep in the right hand lane and drive straight across into Falkland Road, we are the first major building on the left (100m) M5|Road|20|Follow signs for Torquay. When you see Halfords on your right move into the right hand lane and go through the traffic lights into Avenue road. Proceed along Avenue road and drive straight across the first set of traffic lights. At the second set of lights turn sharp left into Falkland road. The Glendower is the first major building on the left (about 100m).
