Burleigh House

  • Inn Details

Burleigh House in Torquay was built around 1927 as a gentleman’s residence and first became a guest house in 1958. Today, we have eight guest rooms (one en-suite twin, five en-suite doubles and two singles). The two singles share a bathroom and separate toilet on the same floor. Car parking is provided, off-street, at the rear of the house. All our rooms have a digital, widescreen Freeview television, radio/alarm, tea/coffee-making facilities and hairdryer. Wireless broadband internet is available through-out the building and there’s an internet-connected PC for guest use in our reception area. Burleigh House is just a short walk to the town centre, beaches and Conference Centre. We’re also on the route for local buses to Paignton, Brixham, Newton Abbot and Exeter. Torre railway station is close-by with local trains to Paignton, Newton Abbot, Teignmouth, Dawlish and beyond. Burleigh House is family-owned and run, open all the year round. Our commitment is to service and making your stay in Torquay as pleasant as possible.
