    Potters Mooring is a 4 star AA rated Guest House, lovingly refurbished to the highest standards whilst retaining its quiet charm and historic appeal. All but one room enjoy en-suite facilities. If you book early you could choose our large family room with sea view or one of our quaint courtyard cottages which are ideal for families and friends. Potters Mooring occupies an enviable position overlooking the village bowling green surrounded by elegant houses and picturesque cottages, only yards from the mouth of the River Teign and surrounding beaches. The busy Victorian town Teignmouth can be reached by the famous passenger ferry where you will find a main line station to London Waterloo and Penzance. Shaldon has many places to wine & dine, ODE an award winning wine restaurant, Clifford Arms Jazz Cafe, London Inn wholesome food, The Tide fish restaurant at the Ferry Boat Inn, Beach Coomber Italian Bistro and the Ness Hotel with its fine restaurant - all come highly recommended. Shaldon, a hidden treasure, has entertainment throughout the year. Water Carnival, Regatta, Music Festival,1785 day every Wednesday during summer. Bowling green, 18 hole pitch-n-put overlooking the Ness, Teignmouth golf course close by, nice walks and beaches. Idealy situated for both Newton Abbot and Exeter Race courses, which are only a short drive away. For visiting rugby supporters Exeter Chiefs home ground is just a short drive or train journey away.       M5|Road|8|Travel west on the A38 take A380 signposted to Torquay, turn left on to the B3192 to Teignmouth at the bottom turn right at the lights, then first left over the bridge to Shaldon and look out for the brown signs with the words POTTERS MOORING. Teignmouth|Coach|2|Bus depot is a short taxi ride or passenger ferry across the Teign. Exeter Airport|Air|25|A303 signposted to Exeter, turn left travelling West on the M5, carry on along the A38 at the end of the M5. Take the left fork along the A380 to Torquay, turning left on to the B3192 to Teignmouth, at the bottom of the hill turn right to Shaldon and left over the bridge. Teignmouth train station|Train|2|A short taxi journey or passenger ferry across the Teign River.
