Rumleigh Farm

  • Inn Details

Rumleigh by the River can be found down a long lane snuggled into the hillside and is a very old Farm, standing in a wonderful wooded valley, full of birds, streams, hedgerows, and everywhere a view of the Devon green rolling landscapes. Rumleigh sits within a World Heritage Site and The Tamar Valley an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the Devon, Cornwall Border. Full of history - the farm itself was first mentioned in 1298 and yet the accommodation is stylish and modern. Yellowhammer - where we offer bed and breakfast, is attached to the main farmhouse, with its own entrance. It has 3 rooms is a large barn conversion. The Blue Family Room is en-suite with shower and you can sleep 3 comfortably. The White room next door (so ideal for families who want rooms together) sleeps 2 in twins or double with the bathroom a few steps down the corridor. The Green Room is a double en-suite. All rooms have flat screen TVs, tea and coffee facilities and complimentary toiletries. If you want real peace then Apartment Dragonfly is for you. This delightful, luxurious, self contained, accommodation is set away from the main property and gives you a large double bed, bathroom with separate walk in shower and deep bath tub, your own kitchen area, and seating you can stretch out on. You also have your own private outside seating area. It’s very private and romantic. Breakfast here is in your fridge to help yourself. If you want cooked breakfast brought to your door you can book it the night before. Whatever your requirement we are sure you will enjoy our superb views, warm welcome and the space to allow you to relax. Our location puts you close to Dartmoor, beaches, quaint fishing villages, nature reserves, well-known attractions and cosmopolitan cities - as well as all Cornwall has to offer. The Eden Centre is an hour away by car. Our accommodation has been formally inspected and we have given full descriptions of each property on our web site www.rumleighfarm.co.uk
