The Great Danes Country Inn

We are situated in the picturesque village of Beachamwell and are surrounded by superb countryside walks and cycle paths, yet we remain close enough to visit the eastern regions main towns and cities. The Great Danes Country Inn is ideal for both leisure and business guests - whatever the time of year. The village is situated on the edge of Thetford Forest and The Brecks, close to the market towns of Swaffham (you may recognise it from TVs popular Kingdom series!), Downham Market, and just 25 minutes from Kings Lynn. Norwich (About 45 minutes) is shortlisted to become the UKs first City of Culture in 2013. Accommodation We have a total of sixrooms, three are on the ground floor: two in the Old Forge which is full of character and feature traditional beams and another in the main building. We have a choice of single, king-sized, twin or family rooms to suit everyone's needs. All rooms are en-suite with TV/DVD player and free wireless internet access. The Area Beachamwell is a lovely village with a population of around 330. The centre-piece is the large village green with its beautiful Old Thatched Church. The Great Danes is an ideal location for escaping from the office to host small business conferences and meetings. The stylish rooms at the Great Danes Country Inn are all tastefully decorated. Great care has been given to providing quality furniture and we pride ourselves on our freshly laundered bed linen. We have six bedrooms, all with en-suite power showers. Our restaurant and bar at The Great Danes offers a full A La Carte menu of evening meals, making the most of fresh, locally sourced food wherever possible (special diets can be catered for).
