    Our Bed and Breakfast accommodation is separate from the cottage and is fully self contained offering complete privacy, peace and tranquillity. Garden Loft is a recently built addition comprising a comfortably furnished large double sized bed sitting room and is equipped with pure cotton bed linen, a freeview television, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and power points. Downstairs, on the ground floor, is a large private shower room and toilet. WI-FI connection, if required, is available in the cottage. Step outside the cottage to explore Chilbolton, famous for its chalk stream fishing and unspoilt Common. There are many footpaths meandering through fields on to the Common divided by the River Test and leading to the ancient Village of Wherwell or via the Test Way to Stockbridge and beyond. There is a village pub - The Abbots Mitre, a village store and Post Office and a 13th Century Church within 300 yards of the cottage and there is also a Trout Smokery in the village. Garden Loft will appeal to both business and holiday travellers as its location is just 5 minutes drive from the A303 with its links to the West Country M3 to London, the A34 to Oxford and M27 to the Portsmouth, Southampton and the South Coast.

From M3 heading South exit Junction 8 on to the A303 for almost 10 miles (passing over A34) exit at Longparish/Wherwell turn on B3048 - Wherwell direction continue for approximately 2 miles. On reaching Wherwell there is another junction with a very attractive thatched cottage on the right hand side - TURN LEFT over river bridge and proceed for about half a mile and where the road bears left TURN RIGHT following the sign for Chilbolton.
