    THE FOSSIL TREE B&B & BRIC-A-BRAC HOLIDAY COTTAGE THE BED & BREAKFAST - A welcoming & homely 200 year old guest house formally Stanhope Castle's Hunting Lodge. The Castle itself forms the focal point of the village & dates from 1795. Built on the original location of a medieval castle. The Fossil Tree B&B has been tastefully appointed to give its guests a comfortable, relaxed & friendly “home from home” B&B with views over the Norman Church of St Thomas’s dating from 1200 AD and our B&B also uniquely looks directly onto the famous 300 Million year old giant Fossil Tree. All rooms are en-suite and are tastefully appointed, free WiFi throughout, tea coffee & biscuits, flat screen TV, DVD & selection of movies in every room.
