Quality Bed and Breakfast holiday accommodation, near Yeovil, Somerset, offering the rare opportunity to stay in a lovely, historic English country home. This magnificent former Victorian rectory has commanding views across countryside described as the most stunning in South West England. Pendomer House is a rural countryside Bed and Breakfast set only 10 minutes south west of Yeovil between the villages of East Coker and Pendomer on the South Somerset and West Dorset border. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, Pendomer House makes the perfect B&B for Garden Lovers and is set on a hill in a Special Landscape Area where the rolling countryside is strictly preserved. Guests may walk down to the hamlet and visit St Roch, the historic Norman church in Pendomer. Bed and Breakfast accommodation for our guests is set in the West Wing of Pendomer House, and includes a private sitting room. There is plenty of parking space and free Wi-Fi connection to the Internet. Pendomer House B&B, although close to Yeovil, is peaceful and secluded and it is an ideal West Country bed and breakfast for holidaying in South Somerset and West Dorset and for business in and around Yeovil, Sherborne, Dorchester and Crewkerne. It is within easy reach of Augusta Westland Helicopters, Taunton and the M5 (40 minutes).

    Tranquility Base!!

We were over the moon, so lucky & very grateful to have been able to book a last minute stay at Pendomer House. We were all the more pleased & very happy to discover such a lovely & peaceful house like this with beautiful surrounding gardens. Placed right in the middle of the countryside it has a lovely idyllic setting, on a gentle slope over looking a winding valley. Pendomer can be easily described as therapeutic to the soul. We were very comfortably accommodated in a large double bedroom with en-suite & thoughtfully included were tea & coffee making facilities. On arrival, Edward & Caroline, made you feel very welcome & were the perfect hosts. Basil Fawlty eat your heart out! After booking in one could come & go as you pleased as there was a separate entrance to access the guest rooms & the spacious guest lounge with a TV where you could while away the evening if the weather were inclement. From the reviews, I was really looking forward to breakfast & was not disappointed on being served a large English breakfast that left no room for my normal appetite for cereal. There are lots of books to read in the unlikely event that you should get bored in this part of Gods country & a huge selection of guides & leaflets to local attractions. This one fortuitous event has sparked our interest in making plans to return to the area & visit all the many places to see down here.
