Calder house is an imposing victorian 16 bedroom hotel on the west coast of cumbria. Originally a former girls boarding school calder house has retained many of its orginal features. All rooms are ensuite and have all the amenties tv tea/cofee making facalities hairdryer iron and wireless internet. The video system is also designed for computer presentations with VGA inputs in convenient locations We can offer a full range of services for you: Morning Coffee – Lunches – Afternoon Tea – Buffets can be included in you business package. Chamberlain's Restaurant is a perfect setting for the small party or meeting. Victorian theme and artifacts with a splendid view of the Cumbrian coast. For that special occasion Chamberlain’s can be hired for your private function with seating for twenty people we will be able to cater for your party birthdays anniversaries or just a get together. Behind calder house is seascale golf club a 18 links golf coarse one of the best in the area just 10 miles away is Wasdale voted the best view in Britain.
