    The Howdale in Scarborough is superbly situated on the North Cliff enjoying magnificent panoramic views of the North Bay and Castle and yet central for Scarborough's many attractions, being only five minutes away from the beach and Peasholm Park. Resident proprietors, Louisa and Kevin Coates, ensure a high standard of cleanliness and comfort is given to all their guests. We look forward to welcoming you. Scarborough is Yorkshire's premier holiday location with two magnificent bays, the castle headland, various museums, traditional holiday arcades and attractions. There is a superb modern shopping centre as well as an abundance of specialist shops for those wishing to browse. Explore the surrounding countryside, visit the North York Moors National Park with its attractive villages and steam railway or spend a day in Whitby, Filey, Bridlington or York all within easy reach. Whatever your choice, Scarborough is the ideal place to stay. We offer a high standard of traditional home cooking. Choice of breakfast menu. We're well known for our large English breakfasts - a good start to your day. Breakfast is served 08:15 - 09:15. We have a pleasant dining room with a sea view. There is a comfortable guest lounge.
