Guests staying at the Chessington can enjoy a pleasant stay in an elegant location that is within easy reach of Scarborough's beach shopping centre theatres nightlife and Railway station. Scarborough has so much to offer. The two bays with golden beaches the picturesque harbour the ancient castle ruins which dominate the bays beautiful gardens in which to relax indoor and outdoor entertainment throughout the season. Castle Howard is the magnificent 18thC home of the Howard Family known worldwide as 'Brideshead'. Set in 1 000 acres of breathtaking parkland facilities include an adventure playground for the children plant centre gift shops craft studios and tree nursery. Guests staying at the Chessington can choose from a selection of Single Twin Double and Family sized bedrooms. All bedrooms come with en-suite facilities. Meals are served in our attractive Dining Room. We do our best to cater for those with special dietary requirements. Please Note: We are a No-Smoking property. south via york|Road|40|from A1 or M1 bypass York along the A64 travelling east for approx 40 miles. On entering Scarborough take signs for Town centre and railway station. With railway station on right turn right at traffic lights for 2 minutes to next traffic lights turning left and travel to next lights turn right into The Crescent and The Chessington is situated on the left.;railway station|Train|0.5|Come out of station and turn right. Cross over road and walk straight ahead. Take next right into York Place. Cross over the road where you will see the Crescent gardens. The Chessington is on your left.;north via whitby|Road|25|from the north via whitby travel into Scarborough heading for the town centre. With railway station on the right drive straight ahead to traffic lights turning left head towards the next set of lights and turn right where you will see The Chessinton on the left.;
