Bypass Sandown town centre and follow the directions for Shanklin where you will come into Lake. At the main junction for Newport or Shanklin, ( A set of traffic lights on a T junction) stay on the left hand side and drive up the hill towards Shanklin and you will see Lake Working Mens Club on your right hand side.
