The Suite

This is not just a room, but a suite comprising of:- Double bedroom with zip & link bed providing either super king or single, flat screen TV with DVD player. Lounge with flat screen TV and DVD player, full size bathroom & terrace. We understand that when busy people take a break they sometimes want much more than a hotel room, but not necessarily to self cater. We hope we have created something very special giving you all the comforts of home in a peaceful environment. You have complete privacy within your suite and independent private access. Your choice of breakfast is served in the suite at a time of your choosing, you can therefore choose to eat in the lounge or on the terrace, weather permitting. Double patio doors lead from the lounge to the terrace, some sea views. Patio table, chairs & umbrella. Sandgate is a pretty seaside village renowned throughout Europe for its antique shops. You will find old pubs, fine dining, cafes all in the immediate area. Sandgate is situated on the doorstep to Europe having the Channel Tunnel just 10 minutes up the road where you and your car can be in Calais in just 35 minutes. The railway station is just 10 minutes away by car where you can board the fast link and be in Central London in just 55 minutes. If you wish to stay more local we are surrounded by the beautiful Kent countryside which is renowned as the Garden of England with many lovely quaint villages. Canterbury with its famous Cathedral is 20 miles, also an excellent shopping area. The Hythe Military canal is a 10 minute walk or hire a bike and cycle the length of the canal into Hythe, a cycle track covers the length of the sea front east to Folkestone and west to Hythe. A little farther and you can spend a day on the Romney Marsh bird watching, or play golf at one of our many excellent golf courses. We are only 26 miles from Sandwich which will host the Golf Open in 2011. As a base for a holiday you really could not wish for more.
