The house is set in the heart of the historic village of Eaton Socon which is located on the opposite side of the River Ouse from the busy market town of St. Neots. We are conveniently situated for a range of amenities including shops, supermarkets, restaurants and a variety of pubs offering wholesome food, good ale and entertainment that are all within easy walking distance. Or you can take a short stroll to the River Ouse and amble along the Ouse Valley Walk into St Neots town-centre with its busy shops and lively market-place (just a 15 minute walk away). North Laurels is very close to the A1, the A428 and the A421, giving good links to London, Cambridge, Bedford, Peterborough (and beyond to the Midlands and the North), as well as London's Stansted and Luton Airports. St. Neots railway station is on the main line running from London (Kings Cross) to Edinburgh. Local and regional buses stop very close by, providing regular and direct access to nearby St Neots as well as more distant destinations such as Cambridge, Bedford, Milton Keynes and Oxford.

      St Neots Railway Station|Train|2.3|St. Neots station is on the main line running from London (Kings Cross) to Edinburgh with regular services in each direction (twice an hour). From the station turn left along Station Rd and then left again into Cambridge St. Follow this into St Neots town centre (where it becomes the High St) through the market square and then over the River Ouse where it becomes St Neots Rd. At the the junction with Great North Road (roundabout, 0.7 miles) turn left and continue to North Laurels on the left. London Stansted Airport|Air|47|Go North on the M11 and at junction 13 (25 miles), take the A1303 exit signposted to Bedford/A428. Follow the A1303 for 1.6 miles then at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the A428 to Bedford. Follow the A428 for 14.5 miles ignoring signs to St Neots town centre and contining past the superstore until reaching a roundabout giving access to the A1. At this roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the Great North Road and continue as for the directions given above. A1|Road|0.8|Leave the A1 at exit X (signposted A428 to Cambridge). At the large roundabout take the first exit onto the Great North Road (signposted to Eaton Socon). Continue past several mini roundabouts, until you see a post office on the right hand side. North Laurels is just beyond this (on the same side, set back from the road).
