    Our Guesthouse is situated in the fine Historic Market Town of Penrith in Cumbria, at the heart of the unspoilt Eden Valley. Surrounded by mountains, lakes, castles and a wealth of History. Our beautiful Victorian Townhouse, full of Cumbrian charm and character is the ideal place to celebrate your special occasions, renowned for its elegance, comfort and excellent food. Offering luxury en suite accommodation. The high standards of comfort and cleanliness have been rewarded with the AA Highly Commended and AA Breakfast award for 4 star rating, placing us in the top 10% of UK Accommodation providers. We pride ourselves on our home cooking and baking, using ingredients from some of the best Lakeland food producers. Our guests are welcomed with a smile and offered a hot or cold drink and a selection of homemade cakes. Made using Lake District recipes, handed down through many generations of our family. Our extensive breakfasts, cream tea, high tea and packed lunch menus are prepared and cooked to order. We offer a full English breakfast with a range of original elegant alternatives. We also offer special options for vegetarians, vegans, lactose & gluten intolerance. PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT ACCEPT BOOKINGS FOR HEN/STAG NIGHT PARTY GROUPS. The Guesthouse is easily located from Junction 40 if travelling North or Junction 41 if travelling south on the M6 Motorway and the trans-pennine A66 link road. Travelling by rail, you will find us just 10/15 minutes walk from the station, on the main Virgin West Coast line, or 5 minutes in a taxi.
