Welcome to the Adelphi although we are not graded by any of the national quality assurance schemes we still maintain to give our customers the highest standard of customer care and quality. Our rooms are clean,comfortable and pleasantly furnished with tea & coffee making facilities with free view televisions, toiletries and towels, Home cooked evening meals can also be provided if required. We have seven guest rooms over two floors, six rooms have en-suite shower rooms facilities and one single standard room with private shower and toilet facilities, Rooms 2, 3, & 5 are accessed by one flight of stairs and rooms 7,8,10 & 11 are accessed by a further flight – there is no lift. The Area is popular with every kind of holiday maker, whether you are looking for a beach holiday with the kids or a more relaxed break or even in the area for business. Paignton is an ideal place to stay to explore the delights of South Devon. You can take a ride on the steam railway to the picturesque town of Dartmouth with its ancient narrow streets house boutique shops, art galleries & delicatessens. A cobbled market place features colourful stalls and Farmers markets supplying local produce – used by the gourmet restaurants, pubs & cafes. Hop on the bus and take short journey to Brixham which is renowned for its established fishing port, this port has one of the largest fishing fleets in the United Kingdom. The fresh catch is sold in the Fish Markets located on the quayside, or why not takes a leisurely drive over the Dartmoor National Park and takes in the stunning views and stop off and sample one of Devon’s famous cream teas.
