Richard and Jill welcome you to St Marguerite, quietly located in Torbay between Paignton and Goodrington Sands. St Marguerite is an oasis of tranquillity, offering a warm welcome, clean, smartly decorated rooms, and good home-cooked food (using locally produced items and homemade preserves whenever possible). St Marguerite is a refurbished late Victorian house offering spotless, spacious and comfortable en-suite rooms, all with freeview TV and WIFI. Guests have easy access to local beaches and superb attractions. We are five minutes level walk to Paignton Sands, Goodrington Sands, Quay West water park and Torbay Leisure Centre with its indoor pool. The Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway is also just a short walk away. We are also an easy drive from Dartmouth, Totnes, Dartmoor and South Hams for guests who aim to discover the beauty and history of the South Devon countryside. We are ideally situated for Paignton Railway and Bus Stations (we can collect you from the station on request) and Paignton's acclaimed Palace Theatre. Guests benefit from ample parking (driveway and on-street) and our garden is a tranquil haven, perfect for relaxation. A hearty Full English breakfast is served between 08.00am to 09.30am (times can be changed with prior arrangement). Evening meals are available on request, again using locally-sourced, fresh ingredients whenever possible. All our rooms are stylishly decorated, with tea and coffee making facilities, freeview colour TV and a hairdryer in every room. Ironing facilities and a trouser press are available on request. Family rooms are available. Our double and family rooms benefit from ensuite facilities, and our single room has a dedicated shower room including wash basin and WC. All our rooms have a refreshing, powerful shower to start your day the best way possible.
