Situated only 5 minutes level walk to Steam and Mainline Railway; Bus / Coach stations and Town Centre. Babbacombe Model Village in Torquay is three miles away ,Brixham and Galmpton 4 - 5 miles and Totnes is 6 miles away.White Rock Business Estate and South Devon College are both one mile away easily reached by catching Bus 12A from the station. We offer free Wifi /Fax services There is unrestricted off road parking on Sands Rd in front of the Villa and ample free 12 parking spaces at the rear 4 Belle Vue Rd entrance. Guests and visitors will find a warm and relaxed atmosphere at the Great Western and are assured of personal attention by resident proprietors Mel and Cathy Sherwood. With second generation and repeat bookings, success has been achieved during 26 yrs of operating the business. Family Rooms are priced for two adults and one child up to 12 yrs of age. Teenagers can have a separate standard twin-room at no extra charge. Try wreck fishing and keep your mackerels,crabs,etc in our freezer or rent a boat at the Habour. Clothes line provided in the back garden for wet towels,swim-suits.Lilo,rubber dinghy etc, can be kept in the shed. Leave your car, catch the boat or ferry for your sightseeing trips or catch Bus 500 to quaint Cockington village. Coastal walks,cycle paths to Goodrington and Brixham are nearby or catch the Steam train from Paignton to historic Dartmouth. Bus Station ,walk past Taxi Rank, bear right , cross train tracks by Steam train entrance.Continue on and turn right into Queens Road, past Rugby/Football / Bowling grounds,continue to the end of Queens Rd. Turn left you are now on Sands Road. You can see 3 flagpoles in our Villa The first Pedestrian entrance faces Kimberly Apartments and second Pedestrian entrance is right opposite Adelphi Lane.Walk past the Fish Pond ,up the steps to the entrance on Bellevue Road Coach/Bus Station|Coach|0.1|From the Coach and Bus Station, cross at the traffic light to the Train station. Walk past the taxi rank and turn right across the level crossing till you come to the first street on your right which is Queens Rd. Walk to the end of Queens Rd turn left, you are now on Sands Rd.Look for the 3 flagpoles and we have 2 pedestrian entrances to the hotel.Walking distance 5 minutes. N.B. Do not follow Multi Map as they have incorrectly placed the location way up the hill on Belle Vue Rd M5 Exeter|Road|21.02|From M5 to A380 turn right on to A3022 ( Paignton Ring Rd ) Turn left at the second roundabout into Preston Down Rd, gp past Occombe Farm this road runs into Headland Park Rd .Continue on till the traffic light.Cross lights into Seaway Road to Marine Drive, it continues on to Esplanade Rd, past Paignton Pier, Apollo Cinema.Look straight ahead ( 4 hotels facing you ) bear right on the Mini Rouandabout, count 10 seconds immediate left , second hidden building on the right next to Alpine Mews.
