Rich in history, with a church dating back to the 11th century, Newton Solney is just 2 miles from Repton, the ancient capital of the kingdom of Mercia and home to the world famous Repton School. Burton Upon Trent, the UK capital of brewing, is just 3 miles in the opposite direction. The Unicorn is perfectly suited to its surroundings. A contemporary styled bar which boasts luxury furniture, open fires and country character. The Unicorn has always and continues to be the ever friendly local pub with that little bit extra. The Unicorn has eight fully self-contained rooms - two twin and six double, two of which are family rooms. Available for long and short term stays with long term contracts available.       Lincoln|Road|66|Head out of Lincoln on the A46, just north of the city centre. Turn right to stay on the A46 for 13 miles. At the roundabout, take 4th exit onto A52 heading to M1/A453/Nottingham. Pass Nottingham. Take the A453 in a south westerly direction for about 7.5 miles. At the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto A50 heading to A6/C.Donington. Stay on A40 for 12 miles. At the roundabout, take 1st exit onto B5008/Etwall Rd. Continue south for 2 miles. At roundabout, take 3rd exit onto B5008/Burton Rd. Manchester|Road|71|Head south out of Manchester, past the Peak District. Go past Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme on the A500. Then move onto A50. At A521, take the 2nd exit and stay on A50 heading to Uttoxeter/Derby. At junction 4, exit toward Birmingham/M1. At the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto B5008/Etwall Rd heading to Repton/Willington. Slight right at A5132. A5132 turns slightly left and becomes B5008/Repton Rd. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto B5008/Burton Rd (1.5 miles). Birmingham|Road|35.7|Head north east out of Birmingham, the M42 motorway will take you about 13 miles closer to the Unicorn Inn. Turn left at the A444. Keep on the A444, then take a left at the A511/Bridge Street, then immediately take a right at B5008/Newton Rd. Continue for 2.5 miles, we will be on the left.
