South Downs National Park - Granted National Park status in 2009 the South Downs are just a joy to roam, whether you are walking the South Downs Way, or just having a day out and wish to stroll or picnic in the beautiful countryside. There are many places of interest to suit all ages. The daffodils and bluebells at Stopham are simply stunning to say the least and are a must to visit in the months of April and May. Bignor Hill is a spectacular walk and view point. The Town House in Midhurst is situated in West Street, right in the heart of this pretty, bustling market town. Ideally positioned for events at Goodwood, Cowdray, Chichester, Arundel and West Dean, The Town House will enhance your stay in leafy West Sussex. Directions to property:
East or West|Road|30|Take the A27 to Chichester; go north through Chichester on the ring road and take the A286 towards Lavant & Midhurst. Go through Lavant, West Dean, Singleton and Cocking. On entering Midhurst turn right at London and the North|Road|30|Take the A3 to Hindhead; at the Hindhead traffic signals turn left on to the A287(signposted Midhurst) After 2.7 miles turn right onto the A287 (signposted Midhurst) After 0.88 mile turn right onto the A286 Stay on the 286 all the way to Midhurst (going through Haslemere and Fernhurst) On entering Midhurst turn right at the mini roundabout at the next mini round about turn left into West Street. The Town House is the first house house on the left.
