We stayed in the 'eden' room for 3 nights last week for our 30th wedding anniversary (Feb 2012) and it was bliss. Fantastic views of the cove from sitting in the comfy 4 poster. Huge room and bathroom absolutely spotless! minibar stocked with everything you could possibly fancy and all at very normal reasonable prices. Breakfasts fantastic, again a glorious view from the table. Sarah & Roy are fabulous hosts, friendly, knowledgable and helpful suggestions if you want them. If you're looking for a peaceful haven for a break, this is the place and don't go home without some of Sarah's whisky marmalade!

We had a very good week in the Portmellon Cove Guest House in June 2011. Sarah and roy are nice people. The Guest House is a wonderful house located opposite the sea. Nice. we have made a wonderful trip and we had very good dinner at the pub (The rising sun inn) near the house (Chips are as good as in Belgium!) And I recommend the homemade hamburger with chips. Thanks Sarah and roy for this wonderful stay !

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by Sarah and Roy, we felt there was nothing too much for them to do to make our holiday unforgettable. Cleanliness was of the paramount and breakfast was very varied and as much as you could eat. The house is situated with beautiful views of the bay when you open your bedroom curtains in the morning. Excellent stay.
