    The Conigre Rooms and Restaurant is a charming Grade II listed 400 year old farmhouse, converted to an 8 bedroom property & restaurant. The property is family run and aims to offer friendly service in a relaxed environment. We have eight individually decorated ensuite bedrooms, five doubles, one twin and two singles, each designed for your comfort; whether visiting on business or pleasure. The main house has three bedrooms, all on the first floor. Our converted Stable Mews offers a further five ground floor bedrooms. The property has an excellent restaurant offering contemporary menus using local produce where possible. We offer a competitively priced midweek menu, 3 courses for £21 and an a la carte menu on Fridays and Saturdays. Please note that bookings are essential and that the restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings. We have a comfortable bar and a guest conservatory to enjoy the views of our peaceful garden. The hotel has a large function room which is ideal for special occasions or a light, airy environment for business meetings and conferences. We specialise in small, private functions, where we are able to offer exclusive use to our guests. We are located on the outskirts of Melksham, close to the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. We are situated within a 20 minute drive of Bath, Bradford on Avon, Trowbridge, Lacock and Castle Combe. Longleat, Salisbury, Bristol and Swindon are all within easy reach. We are 15 minutes’ drive from Junction 17 of the M4 motorway. Free wifi is available in all bedrooms and throughout the house.

      m4 junction 17|Road|12|Proceed on A350 south Warminster/Poole. Stay on A350 for approximately 12 miles, past Chippenham, Lackham, Lacock and Beanacre. On the outskirts of Melksham ignore the first sign for town centre and stay on the A350 until you have crossed the River Avon and the cemetry (on your left). Take the first left turning at rondabout (signposted town centre). You will see a Total Petrol Station 200 yards from the roundabout, proceed on, past The West End Inn, we are 100 yards on the left (purple signs).
