    Welcome to The Inn with the Well. Megan and Mike Shaw warmly welcome you to their tranquil 3 star retreat in the heart of the rolling Marlborough Downs. Our location is ideal for those looking for leisure breaks in the Cotswolds and the south west of England. We are within very easy reach of many famous attractions covering a wide range of interests including those interested in ancient sites, historic cities and even crop circles. The Inn is just 5 minutes from Junction 15 of the M4 Motorway and two golf courses. All rooms are ensuite and well equipped. The Inn with the Well is a traditional coaching Inn (established in 1647) and is set in the midst of the rolling Marlborough Downs on the Ridgeway path – Europe’s oldest highway. Whilst still a village local (Darts and Crib teams still operate here) we cater for guests far and wide. The Inn is known for its good food and with our 6 high quality rooms (4 of which are on the ground floor which are ideal for guests with dogs) you can eat, drink and sleep at the Inn. You may eat in the cosy Well Dining Room or in the Bar – where Classical music is played at Lunchtime. An eclectic menu choice is available and is overseen by the Executive Chef & Co-owner Megan Shaw (trained at Leith’s).
