    This fine example of an Arts and Crafts house was commissioned by a Quaker Lady in 1910 to the highest of standards. Being much involved with the suffragette movement and a benefactor to Lloyd George she entertained her guests here in the summer months with the help of her staff.The three principal suites are used for guests and have panoramic views with Leeds Castle in the distance. Thurnham Keep has the feel of staying in a very special English country house. Facilities include a croquet lawn, hard tennis court, billiard room and outdoor swimming pool.

      From the M20 take junction 7 and take first exit (A249). After a few hundred yards along the dual carriageway take the first exit to Detling on the right. Follow through the village and at The Cock Horse Pub turn right into Pilgrim's Way. After one mile at The Black Horse Pub turn left and take the very first right into our driveway. Follow up the long drive and park at the front of the house.
