    Anne, Dave and Rebecca would like to welcome you to Gable Lodge, a family run grade 2 listed Victorian guesthouse offering family friendly bed and breakfast accommodation. It has recently been awarded a Green Tourism Business Scheme silver award which reflects the care taken to look after our local environment and also to do our little bit for the planet. We are delighted to have won the Devon Federation of Small Businesses 2009 Award for Environmental Responsibility. We hold a 5 star hygeine rating from North Devon Council. Gable Lodge is open all year and has five ensuite bedrooms which are tastefully decorated and well equipped. The bright breakfast and dining room has access onto the front patio area where drinks can be enjoyed during the warmer months. Breakfast is included in the price, using as much locally sourced produce as possible. Good quality, traditional home cooked evening meals are available upon request again using the best of the fantastic food available within and around the Exmoor area. There is a small private car park available for guests. The house is close to all the attractions and amenities within the town. Lynton is linked to its twin town of Lynmouth by the famous water powered cliff railway. Lynton is ideally placed to give you the best access to the North Devon Coast and the Exmoor National Park with fabulous walks near by so you can leave the car behind and enjoy the wildlife.

      Barnstaple|Bus|20|The nearest train station is Barnstaple. From the train station you can get a bus to the bus station. There is an hourly bus from the bus station to Lynton (Mon-Sat only), you need either the 309 or the 310. The bus stops outside Granvilles Garage on Lee Road which is 50m from Gable Lodge however often the bus will drop you at our gate if you ask them to. M5 Junction 27|Road|60|Follow directions to South Molton. Take the A399 towards Combe Martin turning onto the A39 to Lynton before Combe Martin. From Barbrook, follow signs to Lynton from the Petrol Station and take the left turn at the next junction to Lynton. At the T junction turn right right on to Lee Road, Gable Lodge is a few hundred yards down the road on the left, opposite the United Reform Church. M5 Junction 23|Road|46|Follow the A39 to Lynmouth. From Lynmouth, turn right to follow signs to Lynton up the hill, turning sharp right again at the junction. Go through the town passing the Town Hall on your right, Gable Lodge is on your right opposite the United Reform Church.
