    The Cliffe Hotel is ideally based to explore sights.These include Offa's Dyke to the west and the Clee Hills and Wenlock edge to the east. We are well placed for country walks in the Mortimer Forest and fishing on the River Teme. Golf, putting, bowls, tennis, swimming, boating, canoeing, cycling and horse riding are also available locally, as is a day at Ludlow Race Course. To the north are Stokesay Castle, Long Mynd and Caer Caradoc while to the south is the Black and White Village Trail in Herefordshire. Further afield are the county Shrewsbury, the cathedral cities of Worcester and Hereford, the Severn Valley Railway and the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge. The Cliffe has a licensed bar, providing a wide range of drinks including real ales. Restaurant and bar meals are available and there is an extensive wine list available. There are nine bedrooms with ensuite facilities. Single, double, twin and family rooms are available; all equipped with colour televisions, tea and coffee making facilities and direct dial telephones. There is full central heating throughout the hotel and complementary WiFi service is available.

      Ludlow Station|Train|1|Cross the road and walk through the car park. A taxi rank can be found outside Somerfields. If walking, take signs for Castle. Turn left by the cannon. Follow the road downhill and over Dinham Bridge. At the fork in the road turn right towards Priors Halton. The hotel is the second entrance on the left. The walk takes 20 - 30 minutes. Hereford|Road|22|From Hereford, take the A49 north. On entering Ludlow turn left before the traffic lights at Ludford Bridge, sign-posted Burrington / Wigmore. Climb the hill onto Whitcliffe. At the top, immediately after the lay-by at the viewpoint, turn right. Descend Whitcliffe and turn left at the Cliffe Hotel sign. The hotel is the second turning on the left along the lane. Shrewsbury|Road|30|From Shrewsbury at the junction of the A5, take the A49 south. On entering Ludlow follow the signs to the right for the castle. Turn left at the cannon outside the castle gates and follow the road over Dinham Bridge. At the fork in the road turn right. The hotel is the second turning on the left down the lane, signposted Priors Halton.
