The Harrison

The Harrison is an independently owned freehouse, set in a quiet leafy residential street. It has been lovingly restored in keeping with the building’s Art Deco flair, to create a light and airy modern bar. The Harrison’s interior is finished in wood and leather with real coal fires for the winter and outside seating for the summer. The Harrison has four stylishly refurbished en-suite hotel rooms for the business or leisure traveller. Kings Cross has undergone a massive rejuvenation in the past 10 years and now features an increasing number of attractions and cultural establishments. The London Canal Museum (7 min walk) commemorates London's waterways and new British Library (5 min walk) can be found next to St Pancras Station. On display in this iconic building are some of the world's most famous written and printed items, such as the Magna Carta (1215) and Shakespeare's First Folio. Near The Harrison, the Foundling Museum (5 min walk) tells the story of London's first home for abandoned babies. Also the Charles Dickens House Museum is a few minutes walk away through the beautiful historic Mecklenburgh Square.
