The Mitre Hotel is a Grade II listed coaching inn located in Historic Greenwich a world heritage site bestowed with a Royal status. The Mitre first opened in the 1700s and is recognised by English Heritage as an important historical site in south-east London. We are a stones throw from the oldest Royal park in London with it's population of wild deer (where King Henry VIII use to hunt in yesteryear). Famous historic landmarks such as the Cutty Sark National Maritime museum Royal Observatory and of course we are the home of GMT are all within a few minutes walk as is the River Thames and the Naval College containing inspirational architecture designed by Sir Christopher Wren.
