    Lifton Hall is a Grade II listed building dating from the 16th Century that combines traditional character with modern refurbishments including wireless internet. Ideally situated for exploring the area, we are just 5 minutes from Thushel River and close to various lakes for fishing, watersports and in season both shooting and hunting are available. The old market town Launceston is only 5-10 minutes drive whilst both The Eden Project and the north coast can be reached within 45 minutes. Bodmin Moor and Dartmooor are under 30 minutes drive. For golf enthusiasts there are dozens of courses in the area, with the closest 10-15 minutes drive away. We currently offer the ‘Out To Play Golf’ scheme with two green fees for the price of one. Our bar has loads of traditional charm, including two open fires, and is the perfect place to enjoy an ale and some freshly cooked food. We have two outside seating areas where you can sit and enjoy a cream tea or a glass of chilled wine. Free wireless internet in most rooms and all communal areas. Free parking.

      Cornwall|Road|0|From Cornwall take the A30 heading for Exeter. Exit the A30 at Liftondown and follow the signs for Lifton Village - Hotels and B&Bs. Continue through the village past the village shop. The Lifton Hall Hotel is 20m further along on the same side. Our car park entrance is directly after the building. Exeter St Davids|Train|40|Exeter is our closest train station. If you are arriving by train it's best to ask us to arrange a taxi to meet you as they are far cheaper than taxis outside the station. If you're hiring a car in Exeter, follow directions from Exeter and M5. Exeter and M5|Road|40|From Exeter and the M5 follow signs for the A30 - Okehampton. Stay on the A30, going past Okehampton, heading for Launceston. Exit the A30 at Liftondown and follow the signs for Lifton Village. You will also see 'brown-signs' for Hotels & B&B. Continue through the village. The Lifton Hall Hotel is 20m further on than the village shop. The car park entrance is directly after the building.
