    Byways is situated in the picturesque village of Angarrack, famous for its spectacular Great Western Railway viaduct. It lies off the tourist track yet within two miles of the fine St.Ives Bay beaches and is ideally situated for exploring the Cornish landscape. Most of West Cornwall's breathtaking scenery and attractions lie within a 30 minute drive from Byways. These include some of Britain's finest beaches, quaint fishing villages and centres of internationa artistic interest, including St Ives and Newlyn, Within a one hour drive and the the Paradise Park wildlife sanctuary, National Trust gardens and and the National Seal Sanctuary and Flambards , the biggest theme park in Cornwall. Land's End is 16 miles away and has breathtaking views, while St. Michael's Mount, a magical island crowned with a castle, is only 8 miles away. Cornwall is steeped in mining history and the Blue Hills Tin Streams offers guided tours. Refreshments are available on the patio. Enjoy the view from our large garden to the spectacular railway viaduct. A short stroll down the hill from our guest house lies the 18th Century village inn, renowned for its friendly atmosphere and good bar food.

      A30|Road|3|On arriving at the large roundabout, as you approach Hayle, take the exit signposted Angarrack (immediately after McDonald's). In about half a mile you will come to a crossroads. Turn left and ascend the hill passing the Angarrack Inn on your right, then Carwinard Close on your left. Byways is on the steepest part of the hill on the right-hand side.
