    The Fountains Guesthouse is an elegant Victorian building dating back to 1891. We have ten bedrooms, all with en-suite shower room, WC and complimentary Gilchrist & Soames toiletries. Our rooms are tastefully decorated and have Freeview flatscreen TV, free WiFi, radio alarm clocks, full hospitality tray and also central heating which you can control from a themostat in the room. Parking is free in our car park or on the street with a permit that will be issued free of charge if required. We are situated in a quiet residential area of Harrogate but remain just five minutes walk from the town centre and only 200 metres from the International Centre and Exhibition Halls. The town itself has many bars and restaurants along with exclusive shops and museums, art galleries, gardens, Victorian Theatre and also the famous Royal Kursaal which has just been refurbished to an extremly high standard. Harrogate, an historic spa town, is a short distance from many of the historic sights, market towns and beautiful countryside that make this area the jewel of the North. The Fountains serves breakfast between 8am and 9.30am. Breakfasts are cooked to order using locally-sourced ingredients. We look forward to welcoming you to The Fountains The Fountains is a 19th century Victorian townhouse and as such the rooms are set out over three floors with two flights of stairs to some rooms.       Leeds Bradford|Air|12|Taxi is the best way or there is a shuttle bus. A1 Motorway|Road|9|Leave on J47 to Harrogate onto the A59. Continue to first roundabout and pick up A658 which will bypass Knaresborough. Continue until you pickup the A661 which will bring you into Harrogate parkland called the Stray and you will approach a roundabout which you will go straight across and pick up the A59 again towards Skipton. 2 miles down on the left you will see a Jewsons Builders yard sign. Turn first left after the sign into the Kings Road. We are 3/4 mile on the corner of Coppice Drive. coach Station|Coach|2|Same advice as Railway Station. Station|Train|2|Take a Taxi, unless you know your way it's just under two miles or ten minutes walk. If you take a wrong turning (which is easily done) it could be a 40 minutes walk.
