The Avalon is situated a mere two minute's stroll from a very pleasant beach. Take the steps or easy slopes down to the promenade and Gorleston's fantastic beach with gently sloping light sands in the bay, with a large 'dog free area' for the children and a paddling pool for the little ones. There are a few amusements, cafes, shops, but no big sell here, we leave that to our neighbours, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. We do however, boast plenty for you to enjoy, including golf, tennis, bowling, putting etc. plus the Pavilion Theatre and Ocean Room Ballroom. The Avalon is open all year round and boasts a wide variety of facilities to our guests. We have a licensed bar where you can enjoy a drink or two in pleasant company. The Avalon is centrally heated to make sure our guests are comfortable even on the odd chilly day! With easy parking and only 100yds from the seafront, you could not find a better location for a break than this delightful little spot on the East Anglian Coast. Breakfast is taken in our separate non-smoking dining room. A variety of evening meals and snacks are also available at reasonable prices. We make sure our guests have access to their rooms at all times and for our guests piece of mind we have both fire and hygeine certificates. There is Secure Wireless Internet Access in all rooms. We endeavour to make our guests stay here as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We can offer guest accommodation in single, double, twin and family en-suite rooms, so however many there are in your party and in whatever way you want to arrange your sleeping facilities, we can offer rooms to suit. We also offer disabled guest accommodation on the ground floor.
