    Acorn Lodge is an imposing building, over three floors, that is believed to have been constructed in the 1880s and was the home of a senior Royal Navy officer. All the bedrooms in the guest have their own en suite WCs and washbasins, and it is tastefully decorated and furnished. The guest overlooks a playing field in Spring Garden Lane near the centre of Gosport and enjoys views of the impressive Spinnaker Tower on the far side of Portsmouth Harbour. The dining room is furnished to a high standard, as is the rest of the home. The pleasure of good food in good company is a key priority at Acorn Lodge.
