Welcome to our 15th century boutique B & B right in the centre of sacred, historic Glastonbury,UK. A hidden treasure, the cottage is spacious, restful and the rooms exude gentle luxury and a home from home style. Log fires in Winter and a traditional walled garden with private terraces, relaxation pagodas and a sacred fountain ensure a wonderful experience. Herbal teas and fresh flowers greet you in your room. Tea,coffee and cake is available in the kitchen at all times. The Arimathean Retreat Breakfast ~ a special occasion every day and a favourite with our guests~ is an abundance of home-cooked organic and local fare. The whole place has a friendly, home from home feel and has a unique atmosphere of joy & peace - once visited , never forgotten . Treat yourself while you are here to a trip with our in - house tour guide or some alternative therapies including deep relaxation, yoga & meditation and healing experiences if you choose or simply just rest and let go in one of the ample cosy chairs. Someone is insitu at all times and daily housekeeeping is included in the price if desired. Library and quiet reading, TV and DVD areas in the house. Stayed at this wonderful B&B last weekend and it was a truly relaxing break. The lady who runs this guest house is warm and welcoming. The garden is truly spectacular and the decor throughout is superb. It has a wonderful feel and I could have just moved in! Breakfast is ample with plenty of toast, every preserve under the sun is on offer along with porridge, fresh fruit, fresh coffee, a variety of teas, cereal, Greek yogurt and probably more that I have failed to mention. The shower room was well appointed and boasted a walk in power shower, there were plenty of clean towels and even an oil burner with candles. Delightful and I would most certainly stay here again.
