This Edwardian guest house is an easy walk from the seafront, the harbour side and town centre. Rooms are all equipped with flat screen digital TVs, radio alarms, hair dryers and mini-fridges. We offer memory foam mattresses, natural duck-down duvets and high quality Egyptian cotton linen and towels. The house is centrally heated and double glazed for guests' comfort. Wellington House has been run by the same family for nearly 25 years and has lovely views. It is located on a bus route and within 5 minutes of both railway stations. Ample off-street parking is available. A hearty breakfast at Wellington House can feature Cornish, free-range or Fairtrade produce, smoked salmon and real porridge. There is also an extensive Specials Menu to choose from. Falmouth is a premier port with excellent beaches, magnificent public gardens, specialist shops and lots of all weather attractions. The Post Office packet ships sailed from here and the area’s maritime history is now told in the National Maritime Museum Cornwall. Every taste is catered for in the wide selection of restaurants in Falmouth's main street and many lovely village pubs in the surrounding area. The Fal River, Carrick Roads, Truro, Helford River and its gardens and St Mawes and Place on the Roseland are all connected by the Fal River Links ferry service. This makes it an ideal stopover for walkers on the South West coast Path. There are miles of unspoilt countryside and creeks to discover around the Fal estuary and Helford River, as well as historic ports and harbours. A39|Road|20|Take the A39 out of Truro towards Falmouth. Follow the road until the Hillhead Roundabout (unmissable - it has two black cannons!) Take a left turn here, down a steep hill with the Penryn River in front of you. Then take a right at the roundabout with the cacti and palm trees onto a brief dual carriage-way, and follow the signs for beaches and docks (not town centre) straight over all traffic lights and pelican crossings. Wellington House is on the left about 300 yards past the Princess Pavilion
