Guest room
Four star accredited Yeo's farmhouse is a 16th Century Devon longhouse nestling in its own 241 acres situated in a beautiful valley surrounded by wonderful scenery. The farmhouse is believed to be early 16th Century with rooms added on during the next 200-300 years. In the roof some of the timbers are large branches still with the bark on. The farmhouse has been extensively modernised to the highest standards with guests’ own entrance and stairs. Until recently it was a dairy farm but is now predominantly beef and arable with some hand-reared calves and a beef suckler herd. The farm was once part of the Haldon Estate some 12000 acres belonging to the Palk family. This is a great place to explore Devon and Exeter Cathedral City (4 miles). We are ideally located for beautiful Devon beaches and Dartmoor (4 miles) is on our doorstep. Exeter International Airport is about 20 minutes away. On site there is a small fishing lake and you are welcome to bring your rod. On site we have ample free parking available. We welcome walkers and cyclists and can offer wash down and secure storage for bikes. Whatever your reason to visit we will try to ensure that your stay is relaxing and enjoyable.
