A major attraction is the River Avon with very popular recreational areas offering something for everyone from fishing to walking to boating. Abbey Park with its Victorian bandstand offers you music on Sunday afternoons from June to September where you can sit back and soak in the tranquil atmosphere of a lazy sunny afternoon. There are also plenty of activities locally including golf: horse riding and miles of country walks. Cheltenham Spa home of the Cheltenham Race Festival is close-by and other attractions include Hidcote Manor Gardens Warwick Castle Worcester Spode factory and Cricket Ground. Stratford-upon-Avon home of Shakespeare is a 20-minute drive away where you will find the famous Royal Shakespeare Theatre and Anne Hathaway's Cottage.
