    The Sheldon Hotel recently reopened in May'11 under new ownership after a major renovation project. The bedrooms have been reduced in number from 28 to 20 to provide more space and comfort and to complement the on-site car park. One of the unique features of The Sheldon is the CAR PARK with 20 spaces for 20 bedrooms ... guaranteeing free and secure parking for all guests! The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and furnished and comprise Singles, Doubles, Twins, Superiors and Family rooms. All have ensuite bathrooms and all the amenities you would expect from a contempary boutique hotel. 14 doubles, twins, superiors all with 26''and 32''flat screen satellite tvs and 6 single rooms with 22''flat screen satellite tvs. Complimentary teas, coffees, hot chocolates and biscuits are provided and the Superior rooms have their own safes. Sheldon guests enjoy using high quality soap products and lovely white linen and towels for their personal comfort. Breakfast is taken in our feature dining room each morning with an enviable choice of cooked meals and a large continental buffet. There is an additional option for those preferring to take breakfast in their rooms with room delivery service available for a small fee. The Sheldon Hotel offers a variety of features to guests.. meeting rooms, complimentary teas, coffees and biscuits in our guest lounges and free wireless internet available throughout most of the hotel Just 1 minutes walk to the beach and popular bandstand and a few hundred yards to the theatres and Devonshire Park tennis club.
