    The Arden Hotel is situated just off the sea front, in the heart of the delightful English resort of Eastbourne, a traditional Victorian seaside town with three miles of promenade, theatres, gardens, pier & bandstand. We are ideally positioned, being only 50 metres from the sea front, two minutes walk from the theatres and Devonshire Park (tennis) and within five minutes of the town centre, restaurants and plenty of traditional English Pubs. All rooms have an ensuite or private bathroom and come complete with TV and tea & coffee making facilities. There is on-street parking and limited private parking to the rear of the property. The town lies on the edge of the beautiful South Downs, so is perfect for the active walkers and the more adventurous. There are also dozens of historic places to visit, all within easy drive, for example Battle, Alfriston, Herstmonceaux, Sheffield Park and Sissinghurst Gardens. The Sovereign Harbour complex, 2 miles east of the town, offers bars and restaurants as well as a 600 berth marina with 24 hour twin sea locks, making it the biggest of its type in the UK. It is 90 minutes by road from the Channel Tunnel terminal at Folkestone and 90 minutes by rail from central London.

At HSBC bank, turn right, pass Tourist Information Centre, continue to the roundabout. Take 4th exit into Cornfield Terrace, passing Italian restaurants. Take 1st left into Burlington Place. Continue for 100 metres, crossing Compton Street. The Arden is on the right. (Gatwick-Eastbourne by car approx 60 minutes) London|Train|60|There is a direct train from London Victoria to Eastbourne (approx 90mins), passing through Gatwick Airport. On arrival at Eastbourne terminus, turn left out of the main building and walk along Terminus Road passing bus stops. At HSBC bank, turn right, pass Tourist Information Centre and continue to roundabout. Take 4th exit into Cornfield Terrace passing Italian restaurants. Take first left into Burlington Place, continue for 100 metres, crossing Compton Street. The Arden is on the right. Dover|Road|60|Take M20 towards London and exit at Junction 10 on A2070 towards Rye. Pick up A259 and continue on this to Eastbourne. On entering Eastbourne, follow signs for seafront and take 5th turn AFTER the pier into Burlington Place. The Arden is 50 metres on the left. London West and Heathrow|Road|60|HEAD SOUTH ON M25 TO GATWICK AIRPORT Come off at Junction 7, M23 Brighton. Then on M23, exit at Junction 10 to East Grinstead picking up A22 signs for Eastbourne. When in Eastbourne, follow signs for seafront, then take 5th turning AFTER the pier into Burlington Place. The Arden is 50 metres on the left. London East and Stansted|Road|60|FROM STANSTED HEAD FOR LONDON M25 EAST TO DARTFORD CROSSING. After Dartford Crossing, Junction 5, take A21 towards Tunbridge Wells then the A267 through Heathfield. Pick up signs for Eastbourne. On entering Eastbourne, follow signs for Seafront and then take 5th turning AFTER the pier into Burlington Place. The Arden is 50 metres on the left.
