We have a large lake with an island for outside cooking and camping, or you can fish or just relax on the hammock. Or you can enjoy our kitchen garden where we grow every kind of fruit and vegetable possible. Our happy rare breed chickens cluck around in our orchard and our rare breed pigs grunt around waiting for our daughter to try and ride them! We love the good life from honey producing, jam making and baking our own bread, dry curing and oak smoking our own bacon, air drying ham and making hand made sausages. If we can make it we do! You can swim or row in the lake, play on the trampoline, play table tennis or just relax walking around our herbaceous borders and rose garden. We are perfectly situated to enjoy the numerous castles and National Trust historic houses and gardens so near by. Alternatively we are near the sea and the resorts of Brighton and Eastbourne. Walking in the south downs provides simply spectacular views. London is only 1 hour and 10 minutes by train and historic Royal Tunbridge Wells with it's fine shopping and dining is only 30 minutes away.

I love making things, from growing produce to eat (we love making all meals from scratch) to roses and flowers. We have more than 98 rose plants and have 89 varieties of rose. I always have cut flowers all over the house. We love reading, antiques, all our animals and being with our children, George and Elizabeth!
