    We look forward to welcoming you with a pot of tea and homemade cake in the conservatory while you relax and unwind after your journey. We are always around to help guide you with somewhere to eat locally or where to visit the next day. The ensuite bedrooms both have beds dressed in Egyptian cotton linen, goose down duvets and pillows (though alternatives are available), lots of techy equipment and a well stocked refreshment tray. The extra large power shower rooms have Egyptian cotton towels and luxury toiletries. After a wonderful night in our luxurious beds and the pampering en-suite bedrooms you have a feast awaiting you for breakfast (we were just awarded a Breakfast Award from Enjoy England). Our breakfasts are organic and we have vegetarian options as well as some unusual specials. Right in the heart of 1066 Country, we are ideally situated for you to visit all the area has to offer without too much travelling and we are always on hand to help you plan a day out. Visit Rye, Hastings, Eastbourne, wonderful gardens, castles and so much more. There are many varied eateries, including Michelin starred and Michelin accredited restaurants very close by along with lots of pub restaurants and bistros. Of course it can't be guaranteed, but this part of southern England is blessed with better than average sunshine.

      London|Coach|55|By bus or coach A daily National Express bus service runs from London and will stop in Battle High Street if you ask when booking. Again, we are happy to meet you with notice. London|Train|55|By Train The main London to Hastings railway stops at Battle with half hourly services taking about one and a half hours from Charing Cross. We are happy to meet you at the station with notice. From M25|Road|25|By Road From the M25 take Junction 5 to the A21 towards Hastings. Follow the A21 to the Johns Cross roundabout and then take the 2nd exit (A2100) to Battle. At Battle roundabout, turn left and travel through the High Street until you reach a mini roundabout, take 2nd exit to another mini roundabout, take 1st exit, past Battle Station. Travel on towards Hastings for approx 1 mile. You will find us on the right – look out for our sign.
